It is my priority to capture your child’s personality in my photos. This is why location sessions can be so much fun — as I said in another post, we have to let kids be kids. Whether it’s capturing their fascination with a shiny rock on the ground, or tugging at the barette mom worked so hard to get into their hair, or just staring off into the distance because they truly believe they saw a unicorn on a rainbow. I take the time to get to know your child before we start shooting so that he/she doesn’t feel like they need to perform in front of me, and also to make them feel comfortable knowing they don’t have to “look at the camera and say cheese!”. I strive for as natural an expression that we can possibly get out of each child…laughing at the silly faces mom and dad are making behind me, quiet, pensive looks when they’re wondering why the silly lady is laying upside down in the grass, or occasionally, that “I’m a SUPERSTAR” moment when they know they’re the center of attention and milk it for all it’s worth. I cherish every moment with these little ones…and I know you’ll cherish the memories you’ll gain from our experience together.
